So--I spoke at a meeting in a town about 3 hours away from where I was living "up north"--with my niece in tow--and then we had some well earned "fun" before we tackled the rest of the "adventure" of moving. We went the largest mall in the country--and had a blast at both the indoor amusement park, and the indoor aquarium.
I remember watching this show (probably on Nat Geo or the History Channel, or Travel Channel or something) about this mall, and it's attractions--and I always wondered (while living in the "West") why everything was inside?!? After living for a year "up there"--I do not wonder ANYMORE!!! Cause winter started in November--didn't really end until May--and then, while we were there, they had the "hottest" day on record ever for that early (in June)--it was 100 degrees--about 110 heat index (cause of the humidity). It had been 75 days earlier. I like midwest crazy weather--but northern weather--is just NUTS!!!
Set back :(
